The study of mathematics and related problem-solving techniques transcends all disciplines and prepares students to lead meaningful and successful lives in any career choice. The Mathematics program at Leigh High School is designed to provide students with a challenging course of study that meets their interest and skill level while preparing them for continued success in future courses and programs. The study of math has relevance in countless applications in our lives, and our coursework highlights the applicability of mathematical operations and solutions in real-world problem solving situations.

* Students can take AP Computer Science A during 11th or 12th grade, and can enroll concurrently with IM3 or above. NOTE: We also offer Engineering and Computer Science through our Engineering-PLTW course pathway. The Computer Science Principals class offered through PLTW is a college prep elective - it does not fulfill a math requirement. Please refer to the CTE webpage for details.
