Hi, I am Erin Wiley and am happy to be the School Counselor for students with last names Lu - Ng. I started as a counselor at Leigh in the fall of 2017. I am excited to be back working with High School students, after 8 years as a Middle School Counselor.
I am a proud Community College transfer student and attended 2 community colleges before graduating from University of California, Santa Barbara with a BA in Communication and a minor in Education and Applied Psychology. While in my senior year at UCSB, I had an internship at a local high school's college and career center and decided that being a School Counselor was the career for me! While continuing as a Career Center Technician at that high school, I attended California Lutheran University earning a MS in Counseling and Guidance.
After graduating, my husband and I moved back to the Bay Area (I grew up in Livermore) and have enjoyed exploring the South Bay for the last 11 years. I enjoy getting outdoors with my dog and kids- son 7 and daughter 4, reading (favorites- all Jane Austen & Harry Potter), and slowly decorating my house!
For the 20-21 school year, I am part-time and during the second semester my works hours are:
Monday: 8am- 4pm
