Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I hope you’re enjoying your summer and getting a chance to spend time with your family and friends. I couldn’t be more excited to continue working with the Leigh community in my new role as principal!
I want to make sure your student’s year kicks off on the right foot, so I’ve included important information by categories below:
Annual Data Confirmation/Emergency Card Update
Parents/guardians of returning students: If you logged in to the Aeries Parent Portal before and remember your password, please use the same email address and password. If you forgot your password, click on “Forgot Password?” to reset your password using the email address and student permanent ID listed below.
If you need any assistance with the verification process, you can stop by the Leigh front office Monday-Friday from 8 am to 3 pm.
Schedules
Schedule release will happen through the Aeries parent and student portals starting August 11th. Please note, the verification process must be complete for a student to get their schedule. If you need any assistance with the verification process, you can stop by the Leigh front office beginning August 1st.
Webstore: PE Clothes/Athletic Season Pass/ASB Package
Go to the Leigh webstore to order PE clothing, athletic season passes, and ASB packages.
- PE Clothes: Once ordered, PE clothes will be picked up by the student in their PE classes.
- Athletic Season Pass: These passes get four family members into all home athletic games
- ASB packages: Get your student into all athletic events for free (except CCS games), a free ticket to the Welcome Back Dance, discounts on other dance tickets, a yearbook, a Class shirt, and a rivalry shirt. ASB packages can also be purchased in-person, at the student store, with a check for $150 made out to Leigh High School. Deadline to purchase is 9/1/2023.
Senior Portraits

9th Grade Orientation/Parent Welcome
The 9th grade Link Crew Orientation will be on Friday, August 11th from 8:00 am-1:00pm. 9th grade students will take their school picture and receive their school ID card at orientation. Please have your student download the app titled “The Great Game”; this is an outdoor escape room adventure which will allow them to explore the Leigh campus in a fun and interactive way. Students will be contacted by their Link Crew Leader before the event with more information and lunch will be provided.
The 9th Grade Parent Welcome Event will take place shortly after the start of orientation from 8:30am-9:30am in the Performing Arts Center. We will provide information about Leigh, what to expect, and will have a panel of parents and students who will also answer questions and provide advice.
School Photos/I.D. (10-12th grade)
All 10-12th grade students will take their school photos and receive their school ID card on Monday, August 14th from 9am-12pm in the cafeteria. Makeup picture day will be on Wednesday, August 23rd.
Chromebooks
Leigh is a 1:1 school, meaning each student has their own Chromebook. 9th grade students will get their chromebooks during the Link Crew orientation and new students in grades 10-12 can go to the library at any time starting August 7th. It is very important that students bring their chromebooks, fully charged, to school daily.
Drop Offs
As you are planning for the new school year, please note that student items of any kind cannot be housed or dropped off in the office. If a student needs a chromebook, a loaner will be provided to them. If they forgot their lunch, our cafeteria will provide them food for free. We also do not allow food delivery services such as DoorDash or GrubHub.
