About Ms. Shenefiel

I grew up in Northern California, and attended Hillsdale High School in San Mateo. For college, I attended Santa Clara University where I played soccer, then played semi professionally for the Sac Storm & Norcal Shockwaves. My husband and I met at Santa Clara and we have three kids.  All three of our children played sports at Leigh (basketball, volleyball, field hockey, badminton) and graduated class of 2018, 2020, & 2026.

I started my teaching career with a Multiple Subject Credential (1995), then got my Single Subject Credential in Foundational Mathematics (2020). I have taught every grade K through 12, and have been teaching math in highschool since 2021. As a side gig, I have my Studio Teaching Certificate so occasionally work on set providing educational support to the minors employed by the entertainment industry. I have been part of our Fama-LEIGH as a staff member since 2022.
