About Mr. Behrens

Hello, my name is Reece Behrens, and this is my first-year teaching PE at Leigh High School. I am a Leigh alum and am excited to be able to work in the community I grew up in.

Following Leigh, I went on to play basketball at West Valley College before transferring to Cal Baptist University where I received my degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Kinesiology. I received my Master of Arts in Teaching from Santa Clara University.

Aside from teaching, I also coach gymnastics at West Valley Gymnastics. I have coached at West Valley for the last thirteen years. We capped off this most recent campaign with 2 state banners, 22 regional champions and 41 state champions.
