About Ms. Chase

Hello! I am Stacey Chase and I am the Work Experience Coordinator for the District. I teach the Work Experience course at Boynton, Del Mar, Leigh, Prospect, and Westmont. I am also the Yearbook Adviser at Del Mar High School.

At San Jose State University I earned a BA in Social Science, my Single Subject teaching credential, as well as my Master’s Degree in Education-Administration and Supervision. I started my career in education by coaching field hockey at Del Mar in 2001, followed by a full time teaching position there in the Social Science Department in 2004. I am also a Del Mar alumna! (‘97) While Del Mar has been my home for 20+ years, I now proudly work with (nearly) all schools. 

In my free time I love to watch my kids play sports, take pictures, go to the beach and relax with my family. 

In my role as Work Experience Coordinator I hope to support all my students in their roles on campus and as employees in the community. We work to strengthen skills related to employment as well as pursuing career exploration. I want Work Experience students to walk out my door with real world knowledge that will help them in the future work world.
