About Ms. Schlegel Vaggione

Hi! My name is Jacky Schlegel Vaggione or Ms. SV for short. I grew up in South Portland, Maine and moved to California to attend UC Irvine. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching, teaching credentials in English Language Arts and Social Science and an Administrative Services credential. I’ve taught ELD, English, and Social Studies in both middle and high school settings and have been an Assistant Principal at the high school level. 

I have two daughters named Lottie and Aurora and a charcoal lab named Pogue. We just recently moved to the San Jose area after living in Menlo Park for 10 years. 

I am so excited to join the Leigh family!
