About Ms. Mendoza
Hi, my name is Jennifer Mendoza and I am excited to be joining Leigh as a School Counselor. This is my 11th year as a school counselor and I previously worked at Silver Creek HS. I enjoy and love building relationships with students, families, staff, and their community.
I am a Bay Area native and grew up in Hayward, CA. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Social Welfare and received my Master’s from San José State in Education (Counseling and Student Personnel).
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family (especially my niece and nephew), friends, and crafting.
