Elizabeth Tanner

I've been teaching Social Science in California public schools for 22 years; 13 of them at Leigh.

 

I grew up in Campbell and graduated from Del Mar. I attended Chico State and graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a BA in History and a BA in Religious Studies. UCSB was so beautiful that I stayed for graduate school and earned a Masters in Education and a Social Science teaching credential. 

 

I love teaching and learning with students and have taught grades 6-12. I enjoy seniors and government class the most. 

 

I live with my husband and our two children in the Santa Cruz Mountains. My hobbies include traveling, reading, hiking and backyard chicken tending.
