I hold a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from UC Berkeley and teaching credentials in Career Technical Education for Engineering Design and in Mathematics. After a number of years working as an engineer and an innovator with US patents in developing aircraft sealants for the US Air Force and automated semiconductor processes in the Silicon Valley, I joined Leigh High School and entered my teaching career in 2012.

At Leigh, I pioneered the Engineering Pathway of the Project Lead the Way program and has been teaching the Introduction to Engineering Design (IED), Engineering Design and Development (EDD), and the Integrate Math courses. I also advise the Interact Club and Girls Who Code Club.

Outside of school, I enjoy hiking and group dance exercising. During summertime, I explore different parts of the world or volunteer for the San Jose Tech Museum in many of their science and technology projects.
