Michelle Lyon- Chemistry Teacher
Michelle Lyon received her BA in Biology at UC Santa Cruz. She earned a teaching credential from San Jose State University. She has taught at Leigh HS since 1999. She teaches General Chemistry and Honors Chemistry but has also taught Biology.
"The aspect of my job that I enjoy the most is the students. I feel lucky to teach at Leigh because we have the nicest students here. My goal is to inspire students in science."
Michelle is married with 2 boys. Outside of school she is busy driving her children around to all their activities. She enjoys going on family vacations either to the East Coast to visit family friends or going to her favorite Hawaiian Island, Kauai.
