About Ms. Cummings

I am delighted to serve as the Site Wellness Specialist at Leigh High School.  You can find me in Rm. 29, 7:30am - 4pm, Monday - Friday.  

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and have worked in the mental health field for 23 years. I have been a mental health therapist for the past 14 years.  I graduated from George Mason University with a M.Ed. in Counseling and Developmental and began my career as a school-based mental health therapist. To further my studies and expand my understanding of wellness, I completed a M.A. in Transformational Leadership and Coaching in 2016.   This allows me to cover a wide range of topics such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, identity development, leadership skills, social and emotional learning, personal growth and development, and collaborative goal setting/problem solving.
