About Mr. Perry

 

I have been a PE teacher at Leigh since 2007.  Within the department, I teach both the PE 9 and PE 10 courses. Over the years here at Leigh, I have had the privilege of being the head baseball coach (2008-2013), while also being the athletic director (2009-2012). 

 

My passion has always been sports and competition within sports, but my main passion in this area is baseball. I have been an assistant coach at Santa Clara University since 2021.  Prior to SCU, I was the pitching coach/recruiting coordinator at Ohlone College for eight years.  I have been coaching since 2004 throughout the collegiate, high school and club levels.

On the personal side, I am married to my wonderful wife, Marisa, and are proud parents of our two kids.  I'm a Fresno State grad, and earned my master's degree from Ohio University.
