About Mr. Dorsen

This is my first year teaching at Leigh HS, and I am so happy to be here! I am  from the east coast. I grew up in the suburbs of NYC. After earning a BA in French from the University of Pennsylvania, I lived and worked in Paris. Upon my return to the US, I worked in marketing and advertising technology for the past five years. Most recently, I earned my teaching credential and MA in education with a focus on the teaching of French from Stanford University.

I believe that knowing a second (or third) language can make a profound impact on each student. In my free time I enjoy cooking, hiking, working out, playing tennis, travelling AND drinking coffee!. Two fun facts about me are that I have a twin brother and that I also speak Spanish.
