About Mr. Perry

 

I am now in my 17th year as a PE teacher at Leigh.  Within the department, I teach both the PE 9 and PE 10 courses.  Over the years, I have had the privilege of being the head baseball coach (2008-2013), while also being the athletic director (2009-2012).  My passion has always been sports and competition within sports, but my main passion in this area is baseball. I am currently in my third year as an assistant coach at Santa Clara University.  We are coming off a Conference Championship this past season and look to improve on last year's success.  Prior to SCU, I was the pitching coach/recruiting coordinator at Ohlone College for eight years.  I have been coaching for over 18 years throughout the collegiate, high school and club levels.

On the personal side, I am married to my wonderful wife, Marisa, who has given me my biggest joy in my life, our two kids Jacob (11) and Isla (5).  I'm a Fresno State grad, and earned my master's degree from Ohio University.
