Neurodiversity Resources & Bullying Prevention (SB 939)
Senate Bill 939 strengthens bullying prevention efforts and supports educational equity for students who are identified as, or perceived to be, neurodivergent. The resources below, provided by the California Department of Education, offer information for students, families, and educators to help foster safe, inclusive, and supportive school environments.

Campbell Union High School District (CUHSD) proudly announces that Leigh High School has been named a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education, one of only 13 high schools in California to receive this prestigious honor. The recognition, announced by U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona on Sept 23rd, 2024, celebrates schools for excellence in academic performance or significant progress in closing achievement gaps among student groups.

Leigh High School earned this distinction as an Exemplary High Performing School, placing it among the top performers in California. This award acknowledges the dedication and collaboration of Leigh High’s students, educators, and community in upholding high academic standards and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

The State Seal of Civic Engagement is a special recognition for high school students who demonstrate a strong understanding of government, actively participate in civic engagement projects, and show a commitment to making a positive impact in their community.

Qualifying students will earn the seal and be awarded an insignia on their high school diploma. Please apply by Monday, April 14, 2025. These applications will be reviewed by a committee of site and district administrators as well as teachers. Students will be notified if they are being awarded the SSCE by April 25, 2025.
